More than a gallery, a one woman campaign (owner Michelle Payne) to get artists noticed, back artists from East Anglia, as well as working in-house in her studio at the gallery, lifecasting bodies and torsos, celebration and also emotional memorial casting in funeral homes across the region.
Michelle Payne and the Upstairs Gallery take on volunteers who wish to return to work, have unseen illness but are able bodied, giving them value and selfworth.
Decribed as a team, as the gallery volunteers team together to support all artists in the hardest of economic climes.
